Weights


Spotted on a fishing boat in False Creek,  Vancouver, BC.   I'm not exactly sure what these are used for but they caught my eye . . .

  1. Nice photo! I've seen them used when rigging for halibut to pull the line to the bottom quickly.

      There ! I knew it had something to do with fishing but I thought the weights should be heavier

      we don't have much of a fishing fleet here in the City. Most of our fish comes from Haida Gwai'i, mainly salmon or prawns at the Government Docks and sold mainly in Steveston

      They caught my eyes as I thought they looked like necklaces and sort of glistening in the sun
